Detailed Description
Public Consultation on Proposals to Strengthen Safeguards for SMS Messages to Singapore Users
The Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) has been working with the relevant agencies and other stakeholders as part of the Government's multi-pronged fight against scams.
There is a need to build multiple layers of defence and IMDA is proposing new measures to further safeguard SMS as a communications channel.
IMDA would like to seek the public's feedback on these proposed measures.
